I will present my activities around the Theremin here, the very first electronic music instrument, invented by the Russian physicist Lev Sergueyevitch Termen in 1919/1920, which is very special since it is played without actually touching it.
My activities are those of a musician (player, teacher and conductor), and those of an “electronic luthier” who fixes and modifies these rare instruments, and who develops add-on circuits to improve them.
Out of that, I’m constantly organizing or co-organizing so-called Theremin Academies in many European countries to allow Theremin players to meet, to exchange, and to have lessons and other musical activities together. These academies have their own website: http://theremin.academy
